Roses from my garden

Well, we did it again.  We moved in December.  We are living in our hometown again, and though we are now living in town and would prefer a rural home, we know it was the right decision.  My Dad needed us to be closer in order to be able to help him with my Mom as her disease progresses.

The above it a pic of some antique heirloom roses from a 6 foot tall bush in our yard.  Aren't they beautiful :)

It is nice that you were able to move closer to your mom! It is a sacrifice, but you will be glad that you did it.

Alea, boy are you right. We are already so glad we are here. In fact, my parents are staying with us right now because my Dad spent some time in the hospital this week, so we've been taking care of both of them. I'm so glad we are here to do that.

Paula, I know - can you believe it!! It was such a hard decision to make and many tears weer shed. But I am glad we did. If you have time for coffee one day, I'll tell you the whole story.
